Our fees, explained clearly
We believe you should know exactly what you are paying for and why, before you commit to anything. There are no hidden charges or surprises.

How we charge
Mortgage advice fee
Residential and Buy to Let
We charge a fee for our mortgage advice. The exact amount depends on the complexity of your case and is confirmed in writing before any work begins. A typical residential mortgage advice fee is £299.
We also receive a procuration fee from the lender when your mortgage completes. This is disclosed clearly in your Mortgage Illustration and does not change our recommendation.
Protection advice
Life, critical illness, income protection and more
Protection advice is typically provided at no direct cost to you. We are remunerated by commission from the insurer when cover is arranged. This is disclosed fully and does not affect the advice you receive.
Complex and specialist cases
Commercial, bridging, later life lending and more
More complex cases — such as commercial mortgages, bridging finance, or later life lending — may carry a higher advice fee reflecting the additional work involved. This will always be agreed with you in advance.
Our promise
Our commitments to you
-
Fees confirmed in writing — before any chargeable work begins, we will confirm the exact fee in a written agreement. You will never be surprised by a charge.
-
Commission disclosed — where we receive commission from a lender or insurer, we will tell you the amount in your personalised documentation before you commit.
-
Advice unaffected by remuneration — our recommendation is based on what is right for your circumstances, not which product pays us more.
-
No obligation initial chat — speaking with us costs nothing. We will explain our services and fees before you decide to proceed.
